Wu Hang, Ph.D., obtained his doctoral degree in Psychology from the School of Psychology, South China Normal University, in June 2023, under the supervision of Professor Qin Pengmin. In July 2023, he joined the Institute of Brain Research and Rehabilitation at South China Normal University as a postdoctoral researcher, working with Professor Wang Jinhui. His research focuses on the neural basis of consciousness and self-awareness.
His research interests include:
l Mechanisms underlying conscious experience in the cerebral cortex;
l Neural basis of self-awareness and its pathological alterations;
l Precision prediction of consciousness states in patients with disorders of consciousness using neuroimaging.
